Terms and Conditions

1. Service Animal Certification Requirement

1.1. All service animals must be certified as required by applicable federal, state, and local laws to qualify for accommodation or services provided under this agreement.

1.2. Certification documentation must clearly demonstrate that the animal is trained to perform specific tasks that assist an individual with a disability.

2. Definition of a Service Animal

2.1. A service animal is defined under applicable laws (such as the Americans with Disabilities Act) as a dog or, in certain jurisdictions, a miniature horse that is individually trained to perform tasks for the benefit of a person with a disability.

2.2. Emotional support animals, therapy animals, and pets are not considered service animals and do not qualify under these terms.

3. Verification Process

3.1. When required by law or policy, proof of certification must be presented upon request. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • A service animal certification or identification issued by a recognized training organization.
  • Documentation outlining the tasks the service animal is trained to perform.

3.2. Failure to provide the necessary documentation may result in denial of access or service.

4. Responsibilities of the Service Animal Owner

4.1. The owner or handler of the service animal is responsible for:

  • Maintaining control of the animal at all times.
  • Ensuring the animal is well-behaved and does not pose a threat or disruption to others.
  • Cleaning up after the animal and ensuring proper hygiene is maintained.

4.2. Any damage caused by the service animal to property or others will be the responsibility of the owner or handler.

5. Compliance with Applicable Laws

5.1. These terms are designed to comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws. If any part of these terms conflicts with such laws, the conflicting portion shall be superseded by the law while the remainder of the terms remain in effect.

5.2. Individuals seeking clarification about their rights regarding service animals may refer to federal or state guidelines, such as those under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

6. Grounds for Denial of Service

6.1. A service animal may be excluded or denied access if:

  • The animal is out of control, and the handler does not take effective action to control it.
  • The animal is not housebroken.
  • Required certification is not provided when requested under applicable law.

6.2. If a service animal is excluded, reasonable accommodations will be provided to the individual, as required by law, without the service animal.

7. Acknowledgment and Agreement

By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions regarding service animals and agree to comply fully with them. Non-compliance may result in denial of access or service as permitted by law.
